Hard to believe but here we are in February !! February is know as the month of “love”. With Valentine’s Day being this month it is the time we show that special someone in life our love them in a special way.
How about showing love in a couple of ways this year. As you are looking for that special gift for that special someone how about showing your “love” to our businesses here in Gate City by purchasing that special gift from one of them. We have some unique shops in town where you can find that unique gift that that unique person in your life.
Our businesses contribute so much to the well-being of our town and we should support them as much as possible!! So, let’s show them some love this month !!
I want to encourage everyone to attend two great events in Gate City in the next few months. The first is the Shamrock Shimmy on Saturday, March 12th from 4p-7p. The second one is the Jeep Jamboree on Saturday, May 28th. Check out the Gate City Frontier Facebook page for more details.
I also want to take this opportunity to congratulate Leslie Crawford for being hired as the Executive Director of Gate City Frontier. She is such a talented and energetic person and I know will do a fantastic job in this position. I am looking forward to working with her in doing great things for Gate City !!
